Closed petition ITV programme I'm a celebrity animal abuse

We,the undersigned,call upon the government to stop the annual torture & abuse of animals on the ITV programme Im a celebrity get me out of here.
As a country we now accept that animals are not an entertainment commodity,this programme proves otherwise, it's watched by children,(the presenters are aware of this & encouraged them to send in their most horrid ideas for future trials,2 series back)As parents & adults we encourage children to respect & care for animals around them, yet IACGMOOH aware that children often imitate what they watch, are encouraging children to cause suffering & harm to animals around them.
There is also the unnecessary stress & even death of animals for supposed "entertainment" value, although used very little in the first 1-2 series, animals now cover app. 90% of trails.
Although made in Australia it's made by uk makers & we would urge the government to stop the makers using animals in future series for the welfare of the animals & education of children.
