Rejected petition End the misery of late key release on moving day. keys should be ready for 2pm.
Legislate that conveyancers who fail to ensure their clients have ownership and/or key release on or before 2pm are required to pay compensation via a fee discount to their client. Of 30%.

Every day thousands (yes thousands) of home movers suffer late key release. Good people sat in cars or cabs for hours. For no good reason. Families have what should be a wonderful day moving into a new homes ruined by conveyancers not getting completion through on time.
Hard working moving company staff have for years unfairly suffered days frequently up to 16hours in length. Where 4-6 hours of that was spent sat waiting for keys. With customers suffering too.
Fair reform is LONG overdue.
