Closed petition MPs pay increase should be linked to NHS nurses pay increase
Closed on
MPs should not receive an 11% pay rise, as this is unwarranted and in this age of austerity it is immoral of them to vote for such a pay increase, whilst the general standard of living has decreased.
MPs wage rise should be linked annually to the wage rise of an NHS staff nurse, which over the last four years was 7.5%. This rise I was not per year, but the total rise since 2009.
This would be in the spirit of "we are all in this together".
