To ask the Government to allow close family visits (parents, siblings and partners) and list them as essential reasons for travel.

Cognisant of the precaurious situation regarding the spread of Covid-19 throughout the EU and the progress made in the UK, we ask the Government to consider proportionality when it comes to banning travel from European Union countries.

Whilst a ban on international holidays isn't unreasonable, seeing close family members (incl. parents, grandparents, siblings) and partners should not be considered a foreign holiday. Doing so reinforces the hostile environment towards international families.
