Closed Reintroduce the ringfenced funding of Surestart Children's Centres

Children's centres services are aimed at improving a child’s health and well-being, including readiness for school and the families economic well-being through education and employment
In 2010 the government removed the ring fenced grant to Sure Start but maintained to Local Authorities that Sure Start should be prioritised.
Funding now comes from the Early Intervention Grant of £2.3b
However many Local Authorities are now closing down and 'redesignating' children's centres across the country after having to face cuts to the budget of £28b
Please reintroduce the ring fenced grant to our Sure Start centres to give our children the best start in life
