Rather than continually expanding Heathrow as a hub for transport, We suggest that instead if an airport in the north of the country was expanded as a cargo hub, then things could be delivered directly to the north of the country.

This would cut down the number of journeys needed to transport goods from the south to the north, while simultaniously providing jobs and infrastructure to the north of the country.
