IPSA is set to recommend an 11% pay rise for MPs to come into effect in May 2015. IPSA does not need the agreement of Parliament to do this and MPs are claiming they cannot stop it. While MPs may not be able to stop it there are other options available.

In light of the current austerity measures being imposed which have resulted in pay freezes and below inflation pay rises we call upon the Government to introduce a 100% Tax Rate on all MPs Salary above their current salary plus 1%
