Rejected petition Subsidise benefits payments with food vouchers

I wish to propose that instead of paying DWP benefits in the form of cash only, that instead a proportion of all benefits paid could be in the form of vouchers for food and possibly other commodities. Whilst recognising this will create an additional administrative burden it should prevent claimants squandering all their benefits on harmful substances, alcohol and the like and encourage them to better manage their income.
