Rejected petition Enforce the Hunting Act 2004 & close loopholes that allow illegal Hunting

Enforce the Hunting Act 2004, close loopholes that allow illegal Hunting to occur

More details

Despite the Hunting ban being in effect since 2004, loopholes allow illegal Hunting to occur with hounds, the foxes are chased to exhaustion and ripped to pieces whilst alive by hounds. It's a barbaric and an outdated activity that happens despite it being banned. Enforce the ban and close the loopholes to stop allowing illegal Hunting of our wildlife to happen

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We understand that you are concerned about hunting, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We could accept a petition calling for trail hunting to be banned, but you would need to provide your full name.

Enforcement of bans on hunting is a matter for the police, not the Government or House of Commons.

We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:
