Rejected petition Deny Diplomatic Status to the EU on the basis it is not a country
Accredited Ambassadors always represent a Country. The EU is not a country and should not be allowed to open such an office. We are being bullied into this arrangement with trade agreements being used as bait.

I think the EU are using this as a lever in their negotiations with us on trade. Also such an office will attract the attention of the more right wing of our population and is not welcome here.

It is up to the EU what physical presence to have in the UK, but we could accept a petition calling on the Government not to give the EU's ambassador to the UK diplomatic status, if that's what you want to happen.
