The new M&S policy that allows Muslims to refuse to serve customers pork and/or alcohol products is racist and discriminates against persons of other or no faith who wish to purchase such products.

Pork and alcohol products are legal and should be sold to anyone (age permitting) who wishes to purchase them by any assistant who is free to serve the customer.

The policy allowing Muslim staff to refuse service should be prohibited on the grounds of racial discrimination.
