Where the Elderly are entitled to or pay for Care in their own Homes the Care Package Offered should include options for the Care of an existing pet(s) (where the pet is sociable and non aggressive to visitors) without an automatic need for the Pet to be removed from the household. The Elderly in the position of needing care are those most likely in need of the Company, Love and Affection that a Household pet brings.
