Rejected petition immigration

We have so many people entering the United Kingdom from other counties but they should have background check such as criminal record checks so you know who is entering into the country. People who are already in this country should be able to fill safe and not worry about people entering in the country with a criminal record where they could offend again. The United Kingdom should have stricter rules on immigration such as if the immigrate has done a serious offence then they shouldn't be allowed in this country and if the immigrate does an offence in this country they should be sent back to the country they came from and not allowed back.
