Birmingham is long overdue for a reliable, efficient and effective public transport system such as an underground network. The current system is dominated by buses which are poor in service, in cleanliness and in efficiency and the Department of Transport need to reconsider the proposal for a Birmingham Underground network and factor in that the reason why places like the Millennium Point are low in visitors as it is quite a walk from the city with no public transport to this tourist attraction.
