Create a scheme in which private renters that have consistently paid their rent on time for a significant amount of time such as 3-5 years are eligible for a 100% mortgage as they have proved they are able to pay more than the amount of a mortgage every month.

Private renters are stuck as they can’t afford to save and can’t stay at home forever either. People are paying way over what a mortgage would cost on a property because they’re unable to get the deposit they need. Buy to rent schemes are too few and far between for enough private renters to utilise them. Most people are unable to progress with their life as they are stuck in a property which is probably too small for a decent quality of living. We need a way out of renting!
