UNFAIR CHILD BENEFIT RULES FOR CARERS & DISABLED MUST CHANGE

where one Parent with 2 children who is a Carer for a Physically or Mentally DISABLED partner, but who still works, earning over £50,000 is losing up to £1752.40 a year in Child Benefit while those couples, both able to work, with a joint income of £99,990 who also have 2 children are still able to claim full child benefit. The same applies to Single parents, they too lose out.

This is grossly unfair and is discriminatory towards the DISABLED, their CARERS & SINGLE PARENTS and this flaw in the system must be reviewed & made more fair. Child benefit should be based on a HOUSEHOLD income level & not on earnings of one Parent.
