The Government should form a cross party committee to determine both day to day and future direction of the NHS, irrespective of whichever government is in place.
All parties must agree to contribute to the committee and uphold its strategic decisions - even when the Government of the day changes.
This will reduce the "change for changes sake" culture which seems to currently exist. People need healthcare, the elderly should not be abandoned. Surely there are a number of Core Truths which every party, as human beings, can agree on. Build on that - and abide by it. Spend money wisely and with some thought as to the next 10 years +
