Closed To make it a legal requirement to give priority to buses, coaches and trams.

Section 223 of Highway Code states that you must give way to buses coaches and trams when safe to do so. But this isn’t a legal requirement and cause confusion between public service vehicles and the other road users.

I feel it’s a massive confusion among most road user on what the Highway Code is. Many times, me personally, have experienced many near misses from the other road users being carless and inconsiderate. One of which was a member or the police.
