Weighing children in schools to determine that they are overweight and obese is completely insensitive and wrong. This will massively affect children’s mental health and create eating disorders which are already on a rapid increase. Proper nutritional support is needed in schools not a scale reading

There are so many more positive strategies that can help children when it comes to weight and body image to positively help them.

Weighing them and telling them they’re are obese and unhealthy is completely wrong on so many levels.

Mentally in an already toxic environment and pressure from social media and influencers to look a certain way will only push many children into further hurt
