Rejected petition This nation does not wish to be a member of a United States of Europe.

More details

In recent months, senior EU figures have highlighted the aspiration to coalesce the EU into a body which comprises an EU Parliament and a 'Senate' of member states.

Treaty negotiations which would create such a body have yet to be originated, it has been historic within the EU debate that no such structure had been aspired to, and therefore needed no discussion.

Such a vote in the HoC if successful should lead to a UK wide referendum 'join\remain out', and the parent Government overseeing that referendum must apply subsequent specific legislation in favour of the result.

Petition as created here directs that no party enjoining such debate may apply an 'abstain' caveat on the vote nor whipping operation on party MPs.
