The proposed development will destroy much of the peace and tranquility of the Oxford Canal. The introduction of bars and restaurants plus a cinema complex will be overwhelming. There are also plans to build a glass roof over the canal. All of this plus the demolition of The General Foods Club is unacceptable. The whole development needs a serious review.
