Petition People who take in stray cats MUST act responsibility and get them health-checked, and neutered if appropriate
More details
The government to pass a law making it compulsory that anyone taking in a stray cat to have it health-checked and neutered if appropriate. One of my cats was attacked and injured 3 times by an unneutered cat riddled with feline leukaemia which was given a home by my neighbour opposite, unbeknown to me. She never got it health-checked,took it to a vet, or had it it neutered but allowed it to roam freely. The unneutered cat died in October 2013 and my beautiful boy of 7 put to sleep in November 2013. Cause of death cancer. The vet believed that my cat being bitten by this diseased cat certainly traumatised him and most probably weakened his immune system.
