We want the government to create a specific legal offense which would prohibit private landlords, housing associations, councils and all housing-stock managers from offering housing to illegal immigrants.

The UK has a reputation for offering free/cheap housing to illegal immigrants even if they break the law by using illegal means to enter the country.

Indeed it seems that councils in particular are happy to home illegal immigrants.

This serves as an enormous incentive for illegal immigrants to break-into the UK.

Therefore, parliament should make a specific punishable legal offense for property owners & property managers & councils to offer housing to illegal immigrants.

It is already illegal to rent property to someone who is not legally entitled to be in the UK
