Rejected petition Rebuild the UK's Armed Forces.

We who have signed this petition plead with the government to build up our armed forces to create a formidable force suitable for any eventuality up to and including World War 3. As it stands the Armed Forces are repeatedly cut back to levels not seen for centuries. Putting UK Security at dire risk.

They are given new equipment and technology, including under recent investment, but do not have nearly the quantity of it, or the man power necessary to protect the United Kingdom and fulfil our global responsibilities. It is all well and good to have the latest tech, but without sufficient manpower, vehicles, warships etc, the advantage is small. Wherever weakness lies the enemy will attack. We need an armed forces that while efficient is also significantly more substantial in size & strength.
