Closed petition Free Tibet 2014
Closed on
This EPetition calls for the British government to place immediate and heavy pressure on the Chinese to listen and act on the calls of the ordinary Tibetans for freedom and independence from China.
This EPetition hopes that the majority of British people are shocked at how their government is willing to turn a blind eye to the brutal occupation of a nation-state with only their trading relationship with China on the line.
This EPetition does not want to put a price on the lives and freedoms of the Tibetan people and urges the Government to uphold the UN Declaration of Human Rights that they have signed - to prevent the torture and murder of any more innocent Tibetans.
