Rejected petition Criminalise possessing firearms on private residence

Firearms licenses grant possession of firearms with the intent to be used in gun ranges and in sport hunting. This petition asks that all firearms are securely left at gun ranges and not taken to owner’s homes.

It is clear that the liberty to possess a firearms in your home regardless of intent will result in preventable death. With this knowledge, this petition sees no reason as to why all firearms are not kept at their place of intended use. This change in law would be an attempt to prevent death that we know the current laws are liable of.
