Closed Stop David Cameron's funding cuts to Liverpool

Liverpool has been hit worse than any other major English city in the Government’s latest round of funding cuts.

The city council is to have its “spending power” reduced by 10.8% over the next two years, with other cities seeing reductions of between 5% and 10.7%.

Mayor Joe Anderson has slammed the cuts and called for a more even distribution of funding.

He said: “This is happening while leafy suburbs in the South East of England are actually seeing their spending increase.

We need a massive redistribution of wealth in this country! STOP David Cameron from cutting Liverpool funding! Sign our petition now!!!
