50 years ago Paddy Hopkirk drove the Mini to victory in the Monte Carlo Rally. This in itself was a momentous sporting achievement, however, it also helped propel the Mini to global sales success and put British car manufacturing on the map.

Due in great part to that success, the Mini remains an iconic part of british history and culture.

Since that momentous victory, Paddy Hopkirk found continued success in a stellar motorsport career and has continued to support British motorsport, and still represents it today at the highest level.
