To ban the selling of companion animals in all UK pet shops.

It is currently too easy for the general public to impulse buy pets without care or research, many of these may end up being sold, rehomed, placed in rescue (or sometimes worse) once the novelty has worn off.

In addition many pet shops are supplied by backyard breeders and businesses that breed animals en masse, little care is given to the health or temperament of the animals.
