Rejected petition Improve Adenomyosis Healthcare in the UK
Adenomyosis is a condition where the endometrium grows into the myometrium and penetrates the tissue, causing the uterus to thicken and enlarge. Symptoms can include heavy menstrual bleeding and extreme pain.
Please sign this petition for achieving to improve healthcare for Adenomyosis sufferers.
More details
Adenomyosis has no known cause, there is little treatment and the only definite cure is a hysterectomy. I suffer with both Adenomyosis and Endometriosis, taking eight years to diagnose, earlier diagnostic times are needed.
We need a care pathway for Adenomyosis with treatment plans and support. The condition can impact sufferers lives hugely. We need better awareness surrounding the condition, a reliable source of information and an increase of funding into research.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about treatment for sufferers of Adenomyosis, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, we could accept a petition calling on the Government to fund research to help Adenomyosis patients.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
