Rejected petition help people who cannot afford to rent privately

Something needs to be done to sort housing issues out not everybody can afford to privately rent or afford estate agent fees all estate agents ask for guarantors which is wrong and unfair I believe this is another reason for homelessness as well as the rediculous amounts that land lords ask for this includes first and last months being paid upfront with deposits which can total anything up to 1500 .00 some thing some people cannot afford
