I still firmly believe that an Armed Forces Ombudsman is required to ensure the fair treatment of Service Personnel as part of the Armed Forces Covenant."

Power to enforce service complaints and intervene when required to ensure correct handling of complaints and the rules are followed. To also have powers to introduce disciplinary proceedings towards those who flaunt the procedure and service rules. Currently the complaints procedure is biased and does not work.
