Rejected petition All chart in online games should be treated with the same rules as forums

Whilst forum owners have to deal with issues of bullying and harrasement, there are no rules for these problems with online games.

Therefore, I propose that all online games which have a chat facility should be treated as the same as forums, with the game publishers held responsable for all instances of bullying, harassment and victimisation.

Forums are regulated by a voluntary code. However, existing laws (hate crime etc) cover all electronic communication.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
