This government and future governments should pursue policies to make home ownership affordable again and prevent future housing price bubbles including considering:

1) Policies to give owner occupiers priority in the property market and disincentivising mass residential (buy to let) property investments through the tax system.

2) Policies to keep property building up with the growth in demand.

With the overall aim being the creation of excellent high quality and affordable property stock for the population.
