Introduce a compulsory annual license, applying to all rescues of non-indigenous animals.

Responsible department: Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs

We urge the Government:
To ensure that ALL rescues require a license to operate.
To create an annual licensing fee for rescues.
For license holders to pay for annual spot check, inspection carried out by local council, fines to be implemented for deviance of legislation.
Ensure that all animals (list of suitable candidates compiled with veterinary guidance) in recue facilities be identifiableby law.
Ensure that license holder maintains up to date records of all animals
Ensure that license holder maintains up to date records of all financial transactions
