Yet again we have another strike on the London Underground and yet again only a minority of the total membership of the union membership has actually voted for the strike.

Each strike causes untold disruption for those living and working in the capital, and it simply beggars belief that a minority within any union can be allowed to cause this disruption.

It's for this reason that I would strongly urge the government to look into this matter, and call on them to put into place legislation that prevents any strike from happening until majority support has been gained from the entire membership of any union, and not just those that took in the strike ballot.
