This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you want students to be able to access online learning, but we're not sure which educational institutions you want this to apply to. We could accept a petition calling on the Government to require maintained schools in England offer online teaching, but it is up to other educational institutions, such as private schools and universities, whether to offer online learning.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
