Closed petition MPs who don't attend parliament should be deemed to have resigned

All constituents deserve representation in parliament and it is not acceptable for some MPs to decide not to bother actually attending parliament.

For example Gordon Brown MP has only voted on 29 days since the last general election, which is on average less than once every 3 weeks. He has also only spoken in 2 debates in the past year.

Constituents of MPs such as Mr Brown deserve parliamentary representation.

Therefore we petition for a mechanism to be introduced whereby an MP is deemed to have resigned if they do not regularly attend parliament.

I suggest something along the lines of either participating in less than 50% of votes or a continued absence of more than 10 consecutive days as being considered a resignation (with an exception for medical grounds)
