Christchurch Council allowed developers to excavate around trees that are protected by TPO's. This resulted in the trees being condemned as unsafe by the same Council and felled.
From local reports,neither the developer or the Council think they have done anything wrong.

By adding your signature you are demanding that the government will:-

1) Instigate a independent inquiry to establish any wrongdoing.
2) Review and overhaul the powers Councils have regarding TPO's
