Eddie the Eagle was removed from the GB Winter Olympic Ski Jumping Team because he (who did not win a medal), received more attention than the actual medal winners. This is surely against the Olympic spirit. Sport is not just about winning, it is equally about competing. Eddie should receive an official apology for his unfair removal from the GB Winter Olympic Committee.
