The energy companies have Millions probably Billions of pounds reciding in home owners accounts that are in credit.
The companies make use of this money without paying interest to homeowners.
The Goverment should legislate to make them pay interest on positive balances instead of hanging onto the cash and untilising it towards their vaste profits. A 5% interest rate would hopefully focus their minds to returning overpayments quicker.
