I am a parent of a selective mutism child. this is something that is not heard of often enough! it needs more awareness and the children/adults need help for this devastating anxiety disorder. If you can think of your worse fear and how it makes you feel that's how someone that has selective mutism feels yet there is no help.imagine feeling that worried every day not being able tell any one how you feel.
