I believe care.data is a serious infringement on patient confidentiality. Large databases can be hacked, data can be lost and there are insufficient penalties for breaches of the Data Protection Act for such a serious matter as the inappropriate sharing of medical records. This should be an "opt in" only scheme. (The burden should not be placed on the public to actively "opt out.")
