Petition stop company's selling and buying personal details.

this is to stop company's from buying and selling peoples personal details. this will help reduce fraud and will make sure our personal details are only available to the company/s we wish to have them.

data protection was put in place to protect our personal details. but it seems data protection dose not come into play when buying and selling of peoples personal details between company's. so lets make this act of selling and buying peoples personal details illegal. so we the public can be safe in the knowledge that only the company/s we want to have our details have our details.

because the way the current system works, anybody can get hold of your personal details. they can then use them for what ever they wanted to i.e for profit to the highest bidder or in the worst case fraud .
