Rejected petition Increase business mileage allowance from 45p per mile to 85p per mile

Business mileage rates are in two bands. The first 10,000 miles for cars is 45p per mile, after 10,000 miles is goes down to 25p per mile. I want this increased to at least 85p per mile

This has been the same for over many many years and needs to increase. Those who run a business or claim mileage, doesn't cover the cost for the wear and tear on our vehicles never mind the horrendous fuel increase
