Rejected petition Award the people of Ukraine with the George Cross

The bravery of the Maltese people during World War 2 led HM King George VI to bestow the George Cross on a collective basis "to bear witness to a heroism and devotion that will long be famous in history".
The parallels with the people of Ukraine are obvious. We should repeat the award to them.

Parliament could debate the motion "This House shows its support to the people of Ukraine by requesting Her Majesty the Queen bestows the honour of the George Cross collectively upon its citizens".
