Petition All public car park machine should give change

All car park machines should be made to give change.

As by not providing change they are taking money and not returning a service outside of the cost of parking.

For instance you park your car and want to park for two hours at a cost of £1.80. You don't have any change and the local shops will only give change after a purchase. You then have to pay using £2.00.

However you are only allowed to park for two hours and a ticket would be issued not taking into account the fact that you paid 20 pence more for your parking.

I petition the government to make all car park owners provide machine that give change in order to make the system fair.

After all you wouldn't pay more for a product than you actually have to.
