I believe every patient has a right to choose their own GP and not be restricted by geography or catchment area.

This right has been in the pipeline for some considerable time and yet the Department of Health has done nothing about it.

Even the majority of GPs are in favour and it is time the rules were changed to reflect the views and rights of the majority.
