We demand that the UK Government follows the courageous and principled lead shown by Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Poland and Estonia in banning the production of meat from animals whose throats have been slashed by blades without any pre-stunning. Such Dark Ages cruelty has no place in this country, nor in the 21st Century.
