Rejected petition Abolish the removal of children for risk of emotional harm.

More details

We request that children may not be removed from family homes based on risk of emotional harm and that all cases in which these were grounds for removal of children are reopened for appeal.

"Risk of emotional harm" needs a legal definition to prevent it's abuse

By the wording "risk of" there is an acceptance that no harm has or will take place.

In many cases where children are removed from families they go on to suffer emotionally by being separated from parents, grandparents, siblings and other family and friends.

Abolish "forced adoption"if a parent opposes an adoption in court instead ensure long term foster care with remedial work to return children to parents.

Abolish decisions by family court judges to take babies and children under 10 into care.(let juries decide)

Abolish the removal of children from parents who have NOT committed or been charged with any crime.
